Teelin
Directions:
To get to St John's Point, head for Donegal Town. On the Donegal Town bypass,
take the N56 signposted Killybegs. Pass through Killybegs, on the R263 continue
to Carrick. At Carrick take a left, signposted to Teelin (also Slieve League
parking) There is a slip at Teelin.
Parking:
There is a small car park (with room for about 12 cars) beside the slipway,
otherwise park on the main road.


Facilities:
Portaloos by the slip, no cafes/bars nearby. Best to bring your own food/drinks.

Why we like Teelin:
Amazing dive sites along the base of Slieve League, the highest sea cliffs in
Europe.

Coming from Killybegs, this is the village of Carrick - the left turn to Teelin
is just visible

Teelin Harbour from above - the launching slip is to the left, beside the
carpark

Launching slip at Teelin - beware, the slip ends more or less at the water level
shown and there is a sheer 2 or 3 foot drop.
Don't try to launch/recover around low water
