Killybegs

Directions:
To get to St John's Point, head for Donegal Town. On the Donegal Town bypass, take the N56 signposted Killybegs. As you go into Killybegs, there is a large fishing boat pier on your left. Shortly afterwards (again on the left) is a slipway where we launch our boat.

Parking:
There is a small car park (with room for about 12 cars) beside the slipway, otherwise park on the main road.

Facilities:
Nothing by the slip, however there are cafes and bars in Killybegs. Best to bring your own food/drinks. Ladies, in particular, may need to find a discrete place if nature calls.

Why we like Killybegs:

There are a number of nice dive sites along the coast to the south west of the town
