Your Personal Diving Equipment
WARNING: Taking up Scuba Diving can have a serious impact on your wallet!
This site explains what equipment you need and gives you some good advice
As a minimum, you will need;
Mask/snorkel
Fins (never to be called Flippers - you have been warned!!)
Boots
Wetsuit
Weights/weight belt
Buoyancy Compensation Device (BCD) (also known as a STAB jacket)
Octopus (air hoses to connect your tank to your equipment)

To buy new, good quality set of above could cost you over £1,000.
Talk to a club member to understand what they have, where/when they got it, how much they paid for it etc.
You can check on on-line auction sites such as eBay, however it would be mandatory that any second hand equipment purchased should be serviced before you would use it, as you have no idea how well/carefully it has been maintained/used.
